President Ramchandra Paudel has offered the Bada Dashain tika and jamara to the general public, VVIPs and VIPs on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami, 2080 at the President House, Sheetal Niwas, this afternoon.
President Paudel gave tika and jamara to Chief Justice Biswambhar Prasad Shrestha, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, parliamentarians, office-bearers of constitutional bodies, high-placed officials of the government, security agencies' chiefs and civil service employees from 2.00 to 3.00 pm.
Likewise, President Paudel offered tika and jamara to the general public from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm today itself.
There was a queue of the people receiving tika at the president's office even after the designated time.
