United Arab Emirates (UAE) has won the title of the triangular T20I series Friday.
Chasing the 163-run target set by Nepal, UAE reached the target in 19.5 overs losing six wickets at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Captain Muhammad Waseem topped the score with 45 runs including seven fours and two sixes off 22 balls. Similarly, Vriitya Aravind made 26 runs followed by Aryansh Sharma with 25 runs while Basil Hameed and Alishan Sharafu contributed 22 and 13 runs.
In reply, Gulsan Jha and Abinash Bohara claimed two wickets each while Kushal Malla bagged one wicket.
Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal notched up 162 runs losing eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Kushal Bhurtel topped the score with 50 runs including six fours and three sixes of 29 balls. Similarly, Karan KC made 23 runs while Dipendra Singh Airee contributed 20 runs.
In reply, Aayan Afzal Khan grabbed three wickets followed by Zahoor Khan and Ali Naseer with two wickets each.
