UAE has won the toss and elected to bat first against home team Nepal in the semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier on Friday.
The match is being played at the Mulpani Cricket Ground.
Nepal entered the semi-final as the runner-up of the Group A and UAE as the group winner of Group B.
Nepal will look to avenge their defeat in the final of the triangular series at home by defeating UAE in today's match. On the other hand, UAE wants to continue the performance of the final match of the series.
The winner of the semi-final will book berth in the T20 World Cup cricket to be held in West Indies and the United States of America.
