CPN (UML) has pulled out of the Koshi Province government. Ram Bahadur Rana Magar, who became the minister from the UML, tendered his resignation to Chief Minister Kedar Karki from his post on Saturday morning.

Rana Magar had been appointed as a minister without portfolio on October 14.

UML Parliamentary Party leader of Koshi Province Hikmat Karki said that the UML pulled out of the government after Chief Minister Karki revived the central alliance in the province without his consent.

Karki had become the Chief Minister with the support of UML after Nepali Congress supported Maoist Center leader Indra Bahadur Angbo to become the chief minister.

The old alliance was reinstated in the Koshi Province government after the parties belonging to the central alliance gave the trust vote to Karki.
