ANFA President Nembang secures trust vote

President Pankaj Bikram Nembang has received a vote of confidence in the special general meeting of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Thursday.

Nembang secured the vote of confidence with 52 votes. No votes were cast against him.

Out of 87 voters, 53 voted for him. One vote has been declared invalid.

Last September 11, 49 members of ANFA submitted a no confidence notion demanding the dismissal of President Nembang and General Secretary Kiran Rai. A special general meeting was called for today for Nembang to test the floor.

The post of President Nembang was saved after a two-thirds majority of votes were cast in favor of him during the confidential voting held today.
