Today is Laxmi Puja, the second day of Yamapanchak. Lakshmi Puja is being celebrated by worshipping Laxmi, the goddess of wealth, and prosperity across the country.
As Laxmi Puja celebration goes on, the Kathmandu Valley is wearing a glittering look. The houses are decorated with twinkling lights, lamps, flowers, etc, amidst bhailo songs resonating across every nook and cranny.
Not only the houses but also commercial malls, shops, roads, etc. are seen illuminated. The lights lit at night time have made the Valley even more attractive.
