The CPN (UML) has launched its 'Jhulaghat-Chiwabhanjyang Resolution March for Prosperity' from today. As part of this campaign, the party will march from Jhulaghat of Baitadi district on the western border of the country to Chiwabhanjyang in Panchthar on the eastern border.
UML Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the march amid a programme at Jhulaghat here this morning by hoisting the National Flag.
On the occasion, he said the campaign has been initiated for fulfilling the national goal - 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali'. He believed that this campaign will be successful in putting to an end the political instability and in bringing a positive change in the country.
After having inaugurated the Sankalpa Yatra, Chair Oli is scheduled to address a mass assembly the party is organizing at Gothalapani in the district headquarters later today, the CPN (UML) Baitadi said.
Similarly, UML leaders including Oli also reached the house of martyr Dasharath Chanda in Baitaidi. They have signed on the visitors’ book kept in the house and Chairman Oli laid a wreath on the monument of martyr Chand.
