Devendra Dhakal is to be appointed as the Chief Registrar of Supreme Court.
A meeting of the Judicial Service Commission held this morning recommended Dhakal for appointment to the post of Chief Registrar. He is currently serving as the secretary for the Judicial Council.
The tenure of the Chief Registrar is of three years.
This post was lying vacant after former Chief Registrar Lal Bahadur Kunwar was appointed as the judge of High Court.
Similarly, the Commission has recommended Joint Registrar Bimal Poudel for promotion to the post of Registrar. The Council of Ministers will appoint them to these posts which are equivalent to special class.
