Judicial Council appoints 39 high court judges

Judicial Council has appointed 39 judges to the high courts across the country on Wednesday.

A meeting of the JC held on Wednesday took a decision to this effect.

Of them, 26 have been picked from district judges and nine from legal practitioners.

Similarly, four civil servants under the judicial service have been appointed as high court judges.
