Visiting External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dhal “Prachanda” on Thursday.
In an hour-long meeting with Prime Minister Dahal at Singha Durbar, visiting Foreign Affairs Minister Jaishankar conveyed the warm wishes of Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, him.
Recalling Prime Minister Dahal’s successful visit to India in June 2023, Jaishankar said the historical visit imparted a new momentum to the relations between Nepal and India.
“India-Nepal friendship is indeed unique and our partnership is moving from strength to strength,” Jaishankar mentioned on X, formerly known as Twitter. The follow-up, age-old bilateral ties including the Joint Commission meeting were discussed during the meeting.
