Visiting Chinese Vice Minister, who looks after the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Sun Haiyan has held an interaction with the top leaders of the political parties of Nepal on Sunday morning.
In the interaction held at Hotel Soaltee in Kathmandu on Sunday morning, issues including bilateral relations, exchange of assistance and cooperation, mutual interests among others were discussed, said a leader who attended the meeting.
Nepali Congress leader Dr Shashanka Koirala, UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, CPN (Maoist Center) General Secretary Dev Gurung, National Assembly Vice Chairman Urmila Aryal among others are attending the meeting.
Chinese diplomat who arrived on Friday on a four-day visit to Nepal has already held meetings with the top leaders of the political parties including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
She paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister 'Prachanda' on Saturday morning and with CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal later in the evening. Bilateral interests, national and international concerns were discussed during the meeting, according to sources.
