Advocate Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh has filed a writ petition against Bollywood actor-model Poonam Pandey on the charge of cheating people by circulating false information about her death, Indian media outlets reported.

Similarly, there have been voices seeking an FIR against Poonam’s Manager Nikita Sharma and the agency Hotterfly in accordance with IPC Article 417 for bamboozling people and the entire Bollywood fraternity in the name of cervical cancer.

Taking to Pandey’s Instagram on Friday, her Manager Sharma posted an information that Poonam died of cervical cancer. The post left her fans and the entire Bollywood fraternity stunned by Poonam’s death.

However, Poonam’s death started becoming more mysterious towards Friday evening as her family members and her manager remained out of contact with their cells switched off.

On Saturday morning, Poonam posted a video stating that she was alive and admitted to have intentionally circulated her death news as a publicity stunt to grab the world community’s attention to the deadly impact of cervical cancer that kills people silently.
