Nepal has received a target of 138 runs from Netherlands in the ongoing tri-series of the ICC Men's World Cup League 2 underway in Kathmandu on Saturday.
Nepal bowled out Netherlands for 137 runs in 39 overs while the latter was batting first against Nepal after being invited.
To restrict Netherlands to a low score, Kushal Bhurtel took the highest four wickets giving away 20 runs followed by Lalit Rajbanshi with two wickets for Nepal. Similarly, Sompal Kami and Rohit Paudel claimed one wicket each.
On the batting side, captain Scott Edwards made the highest 33 runs including one four followed by Bas de Leede with 27 runs. Similarly, Sybrand Engelbrecht, Noah Croes and Kyle Klein contributed 23, 12 and 11 runs, respectively. The other batsmen could not receive significant runs.

Nepal and Netherlands have met thrice in the ODI matches in the past. Of them, Nepal won one game and lost the other two matches.
Of the two ODI matches held in 2018, Nepal lost the first match by 55 runs and equalized the score in the nail-biting second match.
Nepal lost to Netherlands by 7 wickets in the World Cup Qualifier held in 2023.
