Gandaki wins Rhino Conservation Gold Cup

Gandaki province has won 6th Rhino Conservation Gold Cup football tournament held in Nawalpur of Nawalparasi (Bardghat Sustapur).

Gandaki defeated Atthayis Bigaha Club of Nawalpur by 2-1 goals in the final match held at Rhino Stadium located in Madhyabindu Municipality-2 of the district.

   With the win, Gandaki province also won Rs. 800,000 along with the gold cup. The runner-up, Atthayis Bigaha Club, received Rs. 400,000 in cash.

A total of 12 teams including Nepal Army, Armed Police and Nepal Police, Lumbini, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, Machindra and Sankata clubs participated in the 6th edition of the competition held since the past 20 years ago with the aim of spreading the message of rhino conservation.
