Barahi Hydropower to issue IPO

Barahi Hydropower Public Limited is set to issue initial public offerings (IPO) from December 7.

The company said it will issue a total of 554,000 units of shares. It has already issued primary shares for the local people hit by the project.

Out of total shares, it has allocated 27,700 units of shares for the collective investment fund, 11,080 units for the staffers of the company and the remaining 515,220 units will be allotted for the people in general.

People can subscribe for a minimum 10 units of shares to maximum 10,000 units for Rs 100 per unit on December 12, according to the company.

Investors can apply for the primary shares via ASBA system of the banks and financial institutes permitted by Securities Board Nepal.

The applications can also submitted via website and mobile app

NIBL is the issue manager. ICRA Nepal has given ICRANP-IR B minus grading to this company.
