Nepal has suffered a 20-run defeat against Namibia in the tri-nation T20I series held in Kirtipur on Tuesday.
Nepal was bowled out for 186 runs while chasing the 207-run target set by Namibia at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Ruben Trumpelmann grabbed the highest four wickets giving away 29 runs while Bernard Scholtz, Jan Frylinck and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton claimed two wickets each to restrict Nepal from meeting the target.
Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee made the highest 48 runs including two fours and two sixes off 32 runs while Rohit Paudel, Kushal Malla and Sompal Kami hit 42, 32 and 26 runs, respectively.
The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.
Earlier, electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Tuesday, Namibia notched up 206 runs losing four wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton hit a century with 101 runs including 11 fours and eight sixes off 36 balls followed by Malan Kruget with 59 runs including six fours and two sixes off 48 balls.
Michael van Lingen and JP Kotze contributed 20 and 11 runs, respectively.
On the bowling side, Rohit Paudel grabbed two wickets while Karan KC and Abinash Bohara claimed one wicket each for Nepal.
