Nepali speaking woman 'killed in cold blood' in America

A Nepali speaking woman has been murdered in the United States of America.

The deceased has been identified as Chandra Maya Paudel, the resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the USA, according to local media outlets. Meanwhile, police have arrested James Rimal, the husband of Chandra Maya, for his alleged hand behind her death.

The couple had gone to America as Bhutanese refugees, it is learnt.

A minor son and two daughters have been left helpless following the death their mother and the arrest of their father.

Chandra Maya, 33, went missing from her house based in Cuyahoga Falls last Wednesday morning. Her husband Rimal informed the police about her missing on February 21.

Police conducted a search operation and found Chandra Maya’s body in the jungle near the Summit Metroparks Freedom Trail on the Middlebury Road on Tuesday.

The police arrested Chandra Maya’s husband on the same day and are investigating the case.
