The cricket match held between Nepal and Hong Kong has been called off due to rains.
The rain played a spoilsport when Hong Kong secured 65 runs losing two wickets. With the cancellation of the match, one point each has been shared between Nepal and Hong Kong.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss at Mong Kok Cricket Stadium, Hong Kong Anshy Rath notched 36 runs including four fours and one six off 24 balls. Similarly, captain Nizakat Khan made 25 runs including three fours and one six off 20 balls.
In reply, Nepal’s Karan KC and Gulsan Jha took one wicket each. Papua New Guinea, Nepal and Hong Kong are playing T20I triangular series in Hong Kong.
In a friendly match held on Saturday, Hong Kong defeated Nepal by 73 runs.
Nepal will play PNG on March 12. The final match of the tri-series will be held on March 13.
