Nepal has set a 199-run target for Ireland A in the 2nd Unofficial T20I cricket tournament underway in Kirtipur on Tuesday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground, Nepal notched up 198 runs losing seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Gulsan Jha topped the score with 46 runs including one four and four sixes off 32 deliveries followed by Kushal Malla with 34 runs while captain Rohit Paudel contributed 33 and Kushal Bhurtel hit 25 runs, respectively. Similarly, Sundeep Jora made 21 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.
On the bowling side, Matthew Foster took the highest three wickets conceding 42 runs followed by Ben White with two wickets.
Similarly, Fionn Hand and Gavin Hoey grabbed one wicket each for Ireland A.
Nepal inflicted a six-wicket defeat on Ireland A in the first Unofficial T20I cricket match on Monday. Ireland A is currently on a tour of Nepal and playing practice matches with Nepal.
