Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane and candidate Milan Limbu rang bells while announcing the latter's candidacy for Ilam-2 by-elections on Saturday.
Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has formally announced the candidacy of Milan Limbu for the by-elections to be held in Ilam-2 on April 27.
The candidacy of Limbu, who is also a journalist, was announced by ringing bells amidst a program organized at Lankuri Chautara in Ilam Municipality-7.
Top leaders of RSP including Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane participated in the program.
Party President Lamichhane handed over the election symbol 'bell' to Limbu.
Both of them - Rabi and Limbu - rang the bell for a while amidst the announcement of Limbu's candidacy.
Aside from President Lamichhane, Vice President Swarnim Wagle, Youth and Sports Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, lawmaker Toshima Karki, Deputy General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, Central Member Ramesh Prasain among others have reached Ilam to create environment conducive for Limbu to win the elections.
