With the onset of spring, the mercury is rising across the country every single day, impacting the daily life of people particularly in the Terai region.
The rising temperatures aren't limited to the Terai. Kathmandu has also been experiencing a heatwave in recent days, with continuous sunshine and no rain in sight.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast that the temperature of Kathmandu will range between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius today.
The temperature of the Valley was recorded at 33.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Today’s maximum temperature will officially be made public at 5:45 pm.
Similarly, the temperature of Bhairahawa and Janakpur was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius on Sunday, according to the MFD.
The minimum temperature of Kathmandu is expected to remain at 15.2 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature is measured at 8:45 am and maximum temperature at 5:45 pm every day.
