APF secures 2nd win in a row, beats TAC

Armed Police Force (APF) Club has clinched a second win in a row in the Seventh National Women Volleyball Competition by defeating Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC).

Held at the covered hall of the National Sports Council in Tripureshwar on Thursday, APF defeated TAC by 3-2 sets in the second match of the round robin format. With the win, APF inched closer to the final of the volleyball competition.

APF, which won first and second sets (25-23), lost the third (13-25) and fourth sets (14-25) and bagged the final set (15-9) securing victory.

With this win, APF has notched up five points from two wins. Similarly, TAC which lost today's match has 1 point. 

Chandragiri Municipality’s New Diamond Women Team and Nepal Police Club are locking horns in the second match today itself.
