Chief Justice of southern neighbor India, Dr Dhananjaya Yeshwanta (DY) Chandrachud, has arrived in Nepal at the invitation of Chief Justice of Nepal Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha.
Chief Justice Chandrachud landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Friday afternoon. He is scheduled to participate in the National Conference on Juvenile Justice to be held in Kathmandu on Saturday, a Supreme Court source said.
Chief Justice Shrestha, Justice Dr Ananda Mohan Bhattari, Chief Registrar Devendra Dhakal and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava had reached the TIA to welcome Chandrachud.
