The weather is partly to generally cloudy across the country with rains and thunderstorms in a few places of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces on Friday morning.
Currently, the weather in Nepal is impacted by the westerly and local winds compounded by the low-pressure system formed around the Indian State of Bihar, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly parts of the country including Koshi and Lumbini provinces in the afternoon today.
Likewise, light rain amidst gusty winds and thunderstorms are forecast in a few places of hilly parts of the country including Koshi, and Bagmati provinces towards the afternoon.
Light snowfall is expected in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous regions, said the Division.
Similarly, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country including Koshi Province tonight, and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Light rains amidst thunderstorms and lightning are forecast in one or two places of hilly parts of the country, according to the weather bulletin issued by the MFD at 6 am today.
