The private sectors in Bhairahawa have sought Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's support in operating regular flights at Gautam Buddha International Airport (GIA).

The Siddhartha Industry and Commerce Association here drew PM Dahal's attention towards the need of immediate conduct of regular flights at GIA.

A delegation led by Association Chair Thakur Kumar Shrestha submitted a memorandum to the PM on Friday. PM Dahal had come here to attend a program at Nawalparasi Purba.

"We've drawn PM's attention to the need of two-way flights on a regular basis at GIA," Chair Shrestha shared.

In response, PM Dahal took the demand positively and assured the initiatives were on for it.
