The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been adjourned for 2 pm.

The HoR meeting called for 11 am, has been rescheduled for 2 pm, the Secretariat of Speaker Devraj Ghimire has said.

The impasse of the House meeting continued after main opposition Nepali Congress did not agree to the terms of reference (ToR) of the Parliamentary Investigation Committee.

The agitating Nepali Congress and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in a meeting on Saturday evening agreed not to disrupt the House proceedings.

The task-force members including chief whip of Nepali Congress are holding talks in order to reach consensus on the ToR at Singha Durbar, according to sources.
