Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has claimed that an understanding will be reached between the ruling party and the opposition by the time the budget is presented.
In the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Sunday, the government's policies and programs for the fiscal year 2081/82 were discussed amidst protests by the opposition parties including Nepali Congress.
Prachanda said that he is constantly communicating to remove the ongoing stalemate.
“I tried to reach an agreement with the leaders of the Nepali Congress including the president of the Nepali Congress this morning. We are near to consensus," said Prime Minister Prachanda, “I am confident that an agreement will be reached by this evening or tomorrow morning.”
