A woman has died after being struck by a truck at Satdobato in Lalitpur on Monday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Apsara Dahal of Dhulikhel, Kavre, SP Naresh Raj Subedi of District Police Range, Lalitpur told Nepalkhabar.
The truck, Na 8 Chha 7506, hit her at 12:15 pm when Dahal was crossing the road. She was heading to Bandegaun in Lalitpur to see her relatives, according to police.
Critically injured Dahal, who was rushed to Patan Hospital, breathed her last in the course of treatment a while ago, said Subedi.
He said they are investigating the case after taking the driver and the truck under control.
