PM Dahal meets with his Indian counterpart Modi (photos)

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' who is on a two-day official visit to India held a meeting with Modi on Sunday evening.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Prachanda congratulated Modi on his appointment to the Prime Minister of India for a third term, expressing his belief that the bilateral relations between the two countries will take a new height during his third term.

The two leaders also discussed age-old bilateral relations subsisting between Nepal and India and various issues including the implementation of the past agreements, said the Prime Minister’s Secretariat said.

Prime Minister Prachanda left for New Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony of his Indian counterpart Modi on Sunday afternoon.

Prachanda attended Modi’s oath-taking ceremony on Sunday evening. He is returning to Nepal today evening.
