The Office of the Controller of Examinations Class 10 under the National Examinations Board (NEB) has announced the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results for the Academic Year 2080 BS.

Only 47.86 percent of the students who participated in the examination got through the Iron Gate. According to the Board, 186 students scored 4 GPA.

According to the results published by the Board, out of 464,785 students who participated in the examination, only 222,472 students will be able to study in class 11. Among those who participated in the examination, 52.14 percent of the examinees were non-graded (NG).

According to Board Chairman Dr. Mahashram Sharma, the exams of 221 examinees have been canceled.

The results of those appearing the SEE for the first time have been published as per the Later Grading Directive, 2078, according to which an examinee has to score at least 35 percent of marks in each subject to get through the exams.

The students who have scored less than 35 percent of marks have been non-graded.

According to the new system implemented from this year, students who do not get a minimum of 27 marks i.e. 'D' grade are non-graded as a written examination of 75 full marks is conducted in each subject. The result of a student who scores below 'D' grade i.e. less than 1.6 GPA is Non-Grading (NG).

Students who get NG in up to two subjects will be allowed to participate in the grade improvement examination conducted by the Board after one month. The Board said that the exam will be arranged only for the subject to which NG has been assigned.

The Board has stated that the students who have failed in more than two subjects can take the examination of the relevant subjects only in the next year.

According to the Board, such students can participate in the annual examination for three years. After that, all subjects will have to be re-examined.

According to the Board, only students who get up to 'D' grade will be considered eligible for admission and teaching in higher classes.

Previously, students who scored 35 percent marks by adding theoretical and practical marks also received grade sheets. They were considered eligible for admission in class 11. However, the Board said that this arrangement has been removed from this year.

The results of regular and grade improvement exams of the academic year 2080 BS can be viewed through 10 various websites, SMS and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) as mentioned below.
