Buddha Air adds 18th ATR aircraft to its fleet

Buddha Air Airlines recently expanded its fleet to 18 aircraft with the acquisition of a new ATR-72-500. This brings their total number of ATR-72-500s to 15. Besides, the company has three ATR-42-320 aircraft. 

The newly acquired aircraft, with call sign 9N-ANZ, arrived from Toulouse, France on Friday, the company said. After completing the necessary paperwork, it will begin commercial flights starting July 16.

To make flight services more accessible and comfortable, a new aircraft has been added to our fleet, Buddha Air has said.

"With the increased number of flights at reasonable airfare, passengers now can pick flights as per their travel needs," said Rupesh Joshi, Marketing Director of Buddha Air Airlines, "We will try our best to make flight schedules as effective as possible."

With the added new aircraft to its fleet, Buddha Air has planned to add more flights to Dhangadhi and Surkhet. Currently, there have been two flights on a daily basis to these destinations.

Buddha Air has been conducting 150 domestic flights and one international flight to Varanasi, India daily. Similarly, it also conducts flights from Pokhara to Chitwan, Bhairahawa, and Nepalgunj.
