Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), a state oil monopoly, has increased the prices of petroleum products.

The newly hiked prices will take effect from Monday.

According to the Corporation, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 2 per liter and that of diesel and kerosene by Rs 5 per liter. The price of aviation fuel and liquefied petroleum (LP) gas has remained unchanged.

The prices of petroleum products have been increased in Nepal after the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) increased the prices in India, the NOC said.
