Nepali Congress has organized a photo exhibition at the central party office in Sanepa on the occasion of 100th birth anniversary of late Girija Prasad Koirala on Tuesday.
In the photo exhibition titled ‘From Revolution to Peace’, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli are among those who participated.
Top leaders including Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba welcomed Prachanda and Oli and led them to the photo exhibition.
Following the observation of the photo exhibition, Oli had an interaction with NC leaders including President Deuba, Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, and General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa.
Similarly, Prime Minister Prachanda held a brief interaction with NC leaders including Deuba, Khadka and Thapa after he observed the photos. This is the first meeting between Deuba and Prachanda following the change in the balance in power.
The gathering of the top leaders of the major political parties at Sanepa amidst a change in power equation has grabbed the headlines.
