Nepali Embassy in Berlin, the capital city of Germany, has hosted a reception in honor of President Ramchandra Paudel on Monday.
President Paudel reached Berlin on Saturday night at the invitation of his German counterpart Frank Walter Steinmeier after participating in the 112th International Labor Conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva on Thursday.
He is scheduled to hold official talks with German President Steinmeier today, shared Spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amrit Bahadur Rai.
The Nepali Embassy hosted the reception prior to the formal meeting between President Paudel and his German counterpart.
Addressing the reception, the President urged Nepali diaspora not to forget their country and the birth place wherever they reside.
President is on an official visit to Germany as the Head of State after 38 years.
Then King Birendra and Queeen Aishwarya had visited Germany for the first time in 1986.
