Lawmaker of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Nisha Dangi has made it clear that she does not have a voice of dissent on the party’s action against General Secretary Dr. Mukul Dhakal.

Refuting media reports that only Nisha Dangi out of 52 central committee (CC) members stood against the party’s decision to suspend Dhakal, lawmaker Dangi dubbed the news reports as ‘misleading, baseless and fabricated’.

“I have signed on the decision taken by the central committee of the party regarding the suspension of General Secretary Dhakal,” Dangi said ruling out her voice of dissent against the party’s decision, “Acting General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti has made public the minutes taken by the CC meeting.”

The CC meeting on Wednesday night suspended General Secretary Dhakal over disciplinary concerns hours after the party’s disciplinary commission concluded that Dhakal violated the party discipline in his latest criticisms of President Lamichhane.
