Nepal is taking on Iran in the third match of the CAVA Women's Volleyball Nations League today.
The match will start at the covered hall of the National Sports Council in Tripureshwar at 5 pm.
Nepali women's team is in high spirits since it clinched a historic win over India has remained unbeaten so far. Similarly, Iran wants to climb the second position in the points table by defeating home team Nepal.
Nepal is in the second position with five points from two matches followed by Iran with equal five points. India is atop the points tally with seven points from three matches in the ongoing league match.
Similarly, Sri Lanka is in the fourth position with one point from two matches while Maldives is at the bottom without points from equal two matches.
Nepal had edged Sri Lanka in straight sets in the first match of the league and defeated India in 3-2 sets on Saturday.
On the other hand, Iran on Saturday defeated Maldives in straight sets. Similarly, it defeated Sri Lanka by 3-2 sets and lost to India by 3- 1 sets.
Likewise, Sri Lanka and Maldives are locking horns today. The match will begin at 3 pm.
