Nepal entered the final of the CAVA Women’s Nations Volleyball tournament by defeating Iran 3-0 in straight sets in the second semifinal held in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Nepal will take on defending champion India in the final of the CAVA Nations Volleyball tournament on Wednesday.
In the second semi-final held in the covered hall of the National Sports Council in Tripureshwar a while ago, Nepal beat Iran 25-21 in the first set, 28-26 in the second set and 25-20 in the third set.

The match, in which Nepal made an easy win against Iran in the first set, took an interesting turn in the second set. The match went neck-to-neck until the victory went in favor of Nepal with 28-26.
Earlier, Iran had defeated Nepal in the 3-2 sets in the league stage match.
Similarly, India booked its berth in the final for the second time by defeating Sri Lanka in straight sets in the first semi-final held earlier in the day. India defeated Sri Lanka by 25-15 in the first set, 25-16 in the second set and 25-23 in the third set.
Iran will play Sri Lanka for the third place tomorrow.
