Indian Foreign Secretary Misri calls on former PMs Deuba, Prachanda

Visiting Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has called on former Prime Ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on Sunday.

Misri met Nepali Congress President and former PM Deuba at his residence in Budhanilkantha and discussed the issues of mutual interests, Deuba's secretariat said.

During the meeting with Deuba, discussions were held to strengthen Nepal-India relations further and advance mutual cooperation.

Likewise, Indian Foreign Secretary Misri visited the Maoist Center Chairman and former PM Dahal at his residence in Khumaltar.

Dahal's press expert Manahari Tiimilsina said that matters related to mutual interests were discussed at the meeting.

Indian Foreign Secretary Misri arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday morning on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal.

It is said the visit of the new foreign secretary is the regular exchange between the two countries.
