The bodies of four Nepali people who died after being buried by a landslide near Kedarnath in the Indian State of Uttarakhanda are being brought to Nepal.
According to the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi, three bodies have been handed over to their kin following the postmortem.
Those who died after being buried by a landslide triggered by incessant rains last night are Tula Bahadur Nepali, Purna Nepali, and Kishan Pariyar of Chitwan and Deepak Budha of Dailekh, Councilor at the Nepali Embassy Uma Prasad Chaturbedi said.
Kin of the deceased from Chitwan received the bodies and retuned home. Similarly, the family of Budha is being contacted, said Chaturbedi.
Their bodies had been kept at Rudraprayag District Hospital following the incident. They had died after a landslide fell on them while they were sleeping on Thursday.
They had gone to India for labor jobs a few months ago. They used to work in the road construction works.
