A bus carrying Nepali pilgrims has met with an accident in the Samastipur district of the Indian State of Bihar, a southern neighbor of Nepal.
According to local media outlets, the bus turned turtle after it collided with a truck.
More than three dozen passengers on the bus who sustained injuries are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
The bus heading to Deoghar met with an accident last night. It is learnt that the condition of eight passengers, including a child, is critical.
Around 43 passengers were traveling in the bus. With the help of locals and police, they were rescued and taken to the hospital.
The bus overturned on National Highway 28 near Musrigharari Chowk. The media mentioned that the axle of the bus broke after colliding with the truck and the accident took place.
