Foreign Minister of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister of Nepal, KP Sharma Oli.
Visiting Minister Albusaidi who arrived on a two-day official visit to Nepal met with Prime Minister Oli at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar a while ago.
Various issues related to mutual interest and bilateral relations between Nepal and Oman were discussed during the meeting, the Prime Minister’s Secretariat said.
Minister Albusaidi is also scheduled to pay courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel and engage in bilateral meetings with his Nepali counterpart Arzu Rana, focusing on discussions to further enhance the Nepal-Oman relations, during his Nepal visit, according to a press note issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal.
Minister Al-Busaidi arrived in Kathmandu on Monday at the invitation of Foreign Minister of Nepal, Arzu Rana, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Nepal and Oman, who share similar views on several global agendas, had established their diplomatic relations on January 21, 1977.
Omani foreign minister Albusaidi will return home today itself, wrapping up his two-day Nepal visit.
