Koshi Province made a flying start in the ANFA Women’s League by defeating Waling Municipality on Sunday.
In the inaugural match held at ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur, today, Koshi routed Waling 4-0. Samiksha Magar scored two goals while Sanju Maya Tamang and Pratiksha Rai scored one goal each for Koshi’s win over Waling.
Koshi scored one goal in the first half and three goals in the second half.
Koshi took the lead after Sanju Maya Tamang scored the first goal in the 10th minute. Similarly, Samiksha scored in the 51th and 59th minute.
Similarly, Sudurpashchim Province and Bagmati Youth Club are scheduled to lock horns in the second match of the Women’s league on Monday.
