10 injured as jeep plunges in Arghakhanchi

Ten people sustained injuries when a jeep met with an accident in Arghakhanchi district on Wednesday morning.

The double cab jeep, Lu 1 Ja 4763, heading to Butwal from Chhatradev, fell some 60 meters after it went out of control on the Sandhikharka-Gorusinghe road in Shitganga Municipality-12, Hilekhola at 10:30 am, said Chief of District Police Office, Arghakhanchi, DSP Pratit Singh Rathore.

“Ten people were injured in the accident,” Rathore told Nepalkhabar, “The condition of one among those injured is critical. The all injured are being taken to Thada health post after rescue.”

A rescue team led by Police Inspector Rabindra Chand had been deployed to the accident site. The accident site is around 12 kilometers south of Area Police Office, Thada.

The identities of the injured are yet to be ascertained, Police Inspector Bipin Kark, who is also the spokesperson of DPO, Arghakhanchi told Nepalkhabar.
