In pics: KMC removing illegal hoarding boards

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started removing illegal hoarding boards put up for commercial purposes from the metropolis.

The metropolis had issued a 35-day deadline to the business persons concerned to remove the hoarding boards placed against the regulations.

The metropolis started removing the boards after they were not removed even after the issued deadline.

 Each team comprising 15 officials has been mobilized to this effect, said the metropolis. Every team has necessary equipment including a ladder, wire cutter, iron cutter, etc.
