A person died and 12 others sustained injuries in a bus accident that occurred in Ramechhap district on Tuesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Yunisha Shrestha of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-6, Khahare, Sindhuli, DSP Pradip Kumar Singh of District Police Office, Ramechhap, said.
The bus was heading to Amare of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality, Sindhuli from Kathmandu via Manthali when the accident took place at Khandadevi Rural Municipality-3, Bhirpani due to break failure.
Most of the injured are undergoing treatment at Sindhuli District Hospital.
Thirty-five people were traveling in the ill-fated bus, said DSP Singh.
The police said they are investigating the case after taking the driver under control.
