Cold as Valley temperature dips to 14.7 degrees Celsius

With the exit of the monsoon from Nepal, the temperature has started declining in the country.

The temperature of Kathmandu has decreased to 14.7 degrees Celsius on Sunday. It was recorded at 16.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday.

Similarly, the maximum temperature which was recorded at 28.3 degrees Celsius on Saturday has gone down to 28 degrees Celsius today.

The data mentioned above indicate that the temperature is on a decreasing trend. The monsoon exited from Nepal on October 12.

With the exit of the monsoon, the post-monsoon season has started. It will continue until the end of November. The winter season, then, will start in December, climatologists have said. Hence, the temperature is gradually on the declining trend.
