Nepal has established an Honorary Consulate General of Nepal in Warsaw, Poland, on Friday (December 9, 2022).
Nepal's Ambassador to Germany Ram Kaji Khadka inaugurated the Consulate in Warsaw admist a special program in the presence of foreign dignitaries, and high ranking government officials of Poland.
Meanwhile, Dr. Bodha Raj Subedi has been appointed the Honorary Consul of Nepal in Warsaw.
Addressing the event after the inauguration, Ambassador Khadka expressed happiness over inaugurating the first ever Honorary Consulate of Nepal in Warsaw (Masovian Voivodeship).
"A new chapter has been added in the existing Nepal-Poland bilateral relations. I took the opportunity to open the Office, handover the originals of the Letter of Commission issued by Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal and the Exequatur issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland in favor of Dr. Bodha Raj Subedi, the newly appointed Honorary Consul of Nepal, along with the signboard and flag of Nepal," said Khadka.
Nepal has established its Consulate General in Poland after 63 years of establishment of bilateral ties between the two countries.
The program was attended by prominent personalities like the Ambassador of India to Poland, Honorary Consul of Bangladesh, the Deputy Director of Asia-Pacific and the Deputy Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Member of European Parliament and former Education Minister, former DPM and Minister for Economy, medical doctors, representatives of NGOs, Nepali diaspora organisations, media, Warsaw Chamber of Commerce and friends of Nepal from various walks of life.
