The death toll in the Dadeldhura road accident has reached five after one more body has been retrieved from the accident site.
The deceased has been identified as Gowani Mahara of Purchaudi Municipality-10.
According to DSP Sugandha Shrestha of District Police Office, Dadeldhura, a site report is being prepared currently.
The ill-fated bus, Na 8 Kha 1078, heading to Purchaudi of Baitadi from Mahendranagar of Kanchanpur met with an accident at Amargadhi Municipality-7, Khasrekhan at around 11:30 pm yesterday.
The bus had fallen some 300 meters down the road after it went out of control, the police said.
A total of 17 people were traveling in the bus. Two among those injured are being treated in while the others are undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital, said the police.
