Four killed, 25 injured in Surkhet road accident

Four people have died in a road accident that occurred at Ratanagla in Birendranagar Municipality-14 in Surkhet district on Friday.

Twenty-five people sustained injuries. According to Dipendra Wali, the ward chair of Gurans Rural Municipality-8, the Force vehicle, Karnali Pradesh 02001 Kha 0998, met with an accident at Ratanagla while it was heading to Surkhet from Dailekh at 2:30 pm today.

The injured have been ferried to Karnali Province Hospital, Surkhet for treatment after rescue.

The ill-fated vehicle with 29 people on board has fallen some 200 meters down the hilly road, according to the DPO, Surkhet.
