The US military plane that landed in Kathmandu on Friday carrying American army officials.
Lieutenant General Joshua M. Rudd, Deputy Commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command, has arrived in Nepal with a six-member delegation on Friday.
The high-level US Army delegation, led by Lieutenant General Rudd, landed in Kathmandu at 12:30 pm on a special plane at the invitation of the Nepali Army.
The delegation, comprising four army officers and two crew members, was welcomed by US Embassy officials upon their arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. The team will stay in Nepal until November 16, the military sources have said.
The Nepali Army and US Army have long been exchanging cooperation in areas including the military training.
High-level US Army officials have been making frequent visits to Nepal, of late.
